6 Images 1 Day

This week involves collecting six images from one day.  The video Kim introduced to us was inspiring and made the job less daunting.  I'm nearly there I think so can't wait to see what the process will be to create something from these images.

Texture Tuesday - Simplicity

Decided to take part in the weekly Texture Tuesday.  Todays challenge was to create an image using Kim's texture 'simplicity'.  Nothing more simpler than a button and some wool around a wooden spool.  This lovely little trinket was a Christmas gift from my daughter-in-law and is very appropriate as I spent many years sewing for a living. 

Vision and Blur Assignment - Beyond Layers

Life

This is this weeks assignment in Beyond Layers. Signs of spring here in Northern Ireland so my theme is 'LIFE'. Took a photo of a branch just starting to come into life from the garden. Placed in a green bottle I had and then just followed Kim's tutorial. Quite happy with the result.

This Week's Challenge

is to think of one single word, mood or thought……the photo is then to be based around this.......... Bit of thought needed now to come up with my theme and get out this weekend in search of my photo to work on!

Just Enough - Beyond Layers

Awakening

'Less is more' was the theme of the first week.
  

The texture we were asked to use was 'awaken'. A lovely pale delicate texture.

This opening poppy was taken in the garden last summer and I thought represented the theme well.

Week 1 of a New Project Year

I'm new to blogging so I may need pointing in the right direction by some of my new found friends.  If you see me go in the wrong way please feel free to turn me around lol.

Having joined Beyond Layers eCourse by Kim Klassen I look forward to the year ahead and making more new friends.  

I am going to make this blog my BL Journal.

It will be interesting to look back over it in 52 weeks time.
